The picture on the right is the tour that REECH's Director took students in 2012; they traveled from Texas up to Connecticut (Yale University was the Ivy League that we visited that year). The 2026 Tour will be an exclusively Texas tour and will be finalized as we receive confirmation from the schools, museums, historic sites, hotels, and personnel that will be touring. Below are memories from other tours. Adulting TAYA who will be traveling and touring colleges, universities, and historic sites will learn just how educational and exciting travel can be!

Community colleges will be a highlight because of the myriad vocational yet profitable careers they offer. So, they offer quick-tracks to successful courses that lead to great careers!
Historically Black Colleges & Universities will likely include Paul Quinn College, Texas Southern University, Prairie View A&M University, Wiley College, and other predominantly Black colleges and universities..
Recognizing the right of everyone to make their own life decisions, CUP Tours are College/University/Prison Tours. Each tour will begin by answering the question, "Is prison a choice that we should include?"
Several of the schools being contacted for the 2025 tour are universities; they will possibly include Texas Tech University, some of the University of Texas campuses, and Texas A&M University extensions.
Plans include touring sites like the state capital in Austin, NASA in Houston, the Alamo, or King Ranch. Gulf Coast cities like Galveston and Corpus Christi are also possible sites that will be included.
While in Austin, we plan to meet and be hosted by state representatives and/or senators that represent the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
As the wheels on the bus roll, the youth will be engaged in discussion, watching inspirational videos, processing impressions of the previous stop, or becoming familiar with the next stop.
